A session is one Detor Social Table on one date. You sit down with a few people who also came to meet someone new, and a lot of people make new friends this way. Most tables are six people; the smallest is four and the biggest is twelve. We choose who sits together from the answers you gave us, and we book the place. Everyone pays for their own food and drinks, straight to the place.
Five kinds of table
- Coffee Table. A weekend afternoon in a café, about two and a half hours, usually with six people. The easiest way to try it.
- Brunch Table. A late Sunday morning at a long table, about two hours.
- Dinner Table. A weekday evening in a restaurant we picked, usually six people, and the whole evening to talk.
- Wine Table. An evening in a wine bar, usually six people and a few bottles to share.
- Drinks Table. A Friday after work, drinks without dinner. A short evening out.

How booking works
- Pick a table and take a seat. Choose coffee, brunch, dinner, wine or drinks. You see the date, the city and the seat fee before you book.
- Answer a few questions once. Tell us what you like talking about, which languages you speak and how talkative you are. If you have an allergy, tell us and we will tell the kitchen.
- Say you are still coming. When we put you at a table we ask you to tap one button to say you are still coming, so the table is planned around people who will actually be there.
- Before the start, we tell you where and who. We send you the place, the time, the table number and the first names of the people you will meet.
There are no profiles to browse and no swiping. Before you meet, the people at your table see only your first name and your pronouns.
